My name is Stela, and I was born in Lithuania, on the outskirts of Kaunas, near the Nemunas River, with a forest along its shore. Since childhood, nature has been an integral part of my identity, inspiration, and muse. As a child, I discovered clay on the banks of the Nemunas and spent countless hours shaping it into vases, bowls of all kinds, and whimsical little figures. Over time, this childhood hobby matured into a lifelong passion.

My love for clay led me to pursue formal education in ceramics, earning a Bachelor's degree and later a Master's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts. The excellent evaluation of my functional final work not only affirmed my artistic vision but also deepened my confidence in my chosen path.

Ceramics, much like human beings, relies on all four elements of nature—air, water, fire, and earth—but its essence lies in the creative mind. While crafting ceramic pieces, I bring my personal concept of aesthetics and style to life, meticulously considering every detail, particularly functionality.

Among my creations, the wine stopper stands out as a product that bridges practicality and artistry. Designed not only for wine enthusiasts but also for those who appreciate beauty, it is an exclusive, handmade faience piece adorned with glazes, precious metals, and accents of gold and glitter. While serving its primary purpose, it also doubles as a decorative element for the home.

Additionally, I collaborate with a friend who crafts wooden stands, ensuring that each wine stopper finds its rightful place in any interior. The rounded lines of the apple-shaped designs, with their circular motifs, embody a profound philosophy of life's eternal flow and fullness, bringing meaningful beauty into every home.

My story

Wine bottle stoppers.

From idea to realization.

Wine and art have always gone hand in hand, so the idea of a wine cork as a work of art came about very naturally—sitting by a fireplace on a summer evening, listening to the crickets chirping, and sipping wine. Apples were the first to "come to life," followed by flowers and human characters. Now, there are over 60 unique corks in my collection—and counting! If you're a wine lover, or if you have empty wine bottles around the house waiting to be transformed, I warmly invite you to explore my collection of wine stoppers.

All different.

Every single one is unique.

My artworks are handcrafted, with every detail meticulously felt. The colors play as they please, temperature and weather conditions are not subject to them. Sometimes I think that the colors respond to my mood and emotions, so it's not worth expecting me to make two identical works. All the products in the shop are different, the colors may be slightly different in the flesh, but I guarantee that no one else will have the same one!
